Privacy & Data Protection Policy

1. Who we are
SteadyStrides Consult Nigeria (Lagos, Nigeria) runs this website, our free tools and our HR apps: Talento HRIS, HR Metrics Studio, LeaveSync, HireWise and Talento Fleet. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and guidance from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). Jessica Oguejiofor acts as our Data Protection contact.
2. What we collect
Only what you choose to give us: your name, email, phone number and message when you contact us; your name, email and company when you ask for an app trial; CV details when you use the ATS Resume Checker or CV Studio; your practice answers when you use the Interview Prep Coach; and the information you or your employer enter inside our apps (for example staff records, leave requests, job applicants, vehicles and drivers). We also keep basic, anonymous visit counts and safety signals to stop misuse of our free tools.
3. Why we use it
To give you the service you asked for (your CV score, interview feedback, trial login or reply), to run the apps for your company, to keep our tools safe from abuse, and to follow the law. If you join our talent pool, we may share your profile with vetted employers. We only do this with your clear consent.
4. CV files and AI
Your CV file is read inside your own browser and is not stored on our servers. When you use AI features, only the text needed for the answer is sent to our secure AI provider. It is not used to sell to anyone or to build advertising profiles.
5. Who can see your data
Only the SteadyStrides team and trusted service providers who help us host and run the services, under strict confidentiality. Inside our apps, only the authorised administrators of your own company can see your company's records. We never sell, rent or trade personal data.
6. How we protect it
All traffic is encrypted. Access is locked to approved people only, private records cannot be read by the public, and our systems are checked regularly for security issues.
7. How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it, or as the law requires. Trial logins expire automatically. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
8. Your rights under the NDPA
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop us using it, withdraw your consent, or receive a copy. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng). We will reply to requests within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
